HELP Please, I Want to create a company logo using LibreCAD.

Nananko
Hello,

Im a new user, I want to use LibreCAD to create a company logo with colour. I did the logo handmade and now I'm looking for the way to make it right in the computer.

Is LibreCAD good for this porpouse?
Can I make the logo in colour? painting or something or I can only draw the lines in differents colours?
If I make it, I could save in a jpg format or similar?

Thankis for your time

Really no, to create a logo the best tool is Inkscape

Yes, in LibreCAD you must add solid hatches, in Inkscape only set fiil/stroke colours

Yes in both, but remember jpg ONLY for photograpy, for solid colors always in png

To made it in Inkscape insert the scaned "logo handmade" in a document and use vectorize tool and, next, simplify tool

Nananko,

you are better of making your logo with a tool like inkscape.
LibreCAD isn't designed for logo work as it's a CAD tool.

I'd say generally inkscape would be a good tool. But, if the logo you have in mind is made using basic geometric constructions (circle, rectangle, line) librecad may be a good choice, too. You might export it as *.svg and import it to inkscape later to finish work.
But if this is the way to go depends on your skills and your will to overcome the initial frustration with new programs.
