Hatch disappears on layer attribute change

For some reason when moving a hatch to a different layer, it just disappears. The associated polyline moves, but the hatch is gone.

Is this normal?

No. I tried to reproduce this but I could not. I have a different behavior: hatches are moved to final layer but keep the color of initial layer.

For the record, an issue is already opened: https://github.com/LibreCAD/LibreCAD/issues/834

Yes, unfortunately, this is normal for V 2.1.3. It is a bug.
This is fixed in the current V 2.2.0 rc2.
But still there is a strange behaviour, as fa201 has also noticed. The hatch moved to the different layer still seems to be connected to the layer it has been created on. If you switch that original layer invisible, the hatch disappears, too.
But if you create the hatch on a different layer than the associated polyline from the onset, everything is all right.

I have talked some nonsense in my previous post.
...if you...., everything is all right.   Nope.
You have to do the layer assignment via Attributes twice, then everything is allright. I hope so.
