Hatch irregular area

Bebbspoke
Hi Peoples,
I have perused the forum & tried to rtfm (as & when I could find such).
Please could someone advise or supply links to assist; -
The file attached - as developing stencils for an old motorcycle front numberplate.
The hatch / fill the irregular ("hand" drawn) lettering appears inverted in areas...
Below is link to file as it is too large to post.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/bn3l1pecc8yqbkg/blade11wkg.dxf?dl=0
Please - I do not expect or wish appropriate correction(s) applied...
but would hope to have an explanation of how to correct it for myself!
Many thanks,

Does it look like the examples in this issue:
https://github.com/LibreCAD/LibreCAD/issues/826

Then using the latest version can solve your issue.
You'll find it here: https://github.com/LibreCAD/LibreCAD/releases/tag/latest

Sorry, I was to vague, 2.1.3 from 2016 is not latest.
It is labeled latest because it's the last official release.

What I mean with latest is here:
https://github.com/LibreCAD/LibreCAD/releases/tag/latest

It is pre-release, but its release is coming soon and it is safe to use.
It will show version 2.2.0-rc4-23-ge3fae3dc compiled on Nov 4 2022.
This version should have the fix for your issue.

If the latest LibreCAD doesn't solve the problem, as a workaround look here: https://forum.librecad.org/filling-areas-and-exclude-parts-of-it-td5715760.html#a5715761

LordOfBikes & Dellus; -
now using: -
Version: 2.2.0-rc4-23-ge3fae3dc
Compiler: GNU GCC 12.2.0
Compiled on: Nov  4 2022
Qt Version: 5.12.11
Boost Version: 1.75.0
System: Windows 10 (10.0)
This clears the reversed hatch/fill issue at most zoom levels
however the issue still occurs particularly when zooming out.
I have not tried Dellus's work-round as yet as can live with
the zoom limitations...
Thanks both for your assistance.
Cheers, John

I assume, that differences between limiting contour and the hatch are inaccuracies of the drawing unit.
So I think that shouldn't matter, if they even exist at all.
Especially at high zoom levels the entities on the screen may not exactly match the underlying math.
That means when you look at the zoom level, the appearing gaps are presumably a fraction of the whole part.
At an appropriate scale the gaps will be invisible or not existent.

Re: Hatch irregular area

I think Bebbspoke means something different.
Here an example with an exploded and hatched hollow text in various zoom levels:

As far as I have tested it is not visible when printing to paper or pdf.

Re: Hatch irregular area

Yes folks - Dellus has reproduced and demonstrates the issue to which I refered...
It seems only present as zoom out is applied and as shown varies as per level of zoom.
Cheers, Bebbspoke,
