How can I trim this polyline?

Greetings everybody!

I used polyline and Trim Segments tools but I couldn't trim the extension parts of lines. I drew polyline in an order as seen on the image (1,2,3,4)

I press trim segments tool  and click polyline, click first segment and second segment but always trim the other parts.is this the expected behaviour of trim segments tool?

Hello!

Trim is a bit unintuitive to use before you get used to it.

To trim, you have to select the part that will stay, not the part which is to be trimmed.

Wacth the tool tips, they tell what to do next.

Hi kayalif,

currently, Tools: trim or "trim two" won't work on a polyline.

You may try: Tools > Explode, to explode the polyline into individual entities and try "trim two".
