How to make an array in sketch workbench in libre cad

akkib89
I have been toggling the copy/paste function in librecad but in vain, unable to build an array of same figures in repitition horizontally or vertically along a straight line.
Please someone help me in this regard. Is there a direct array command like in Auto cad.

- There is no array command in LibreCAD, but...
LibreCAD "Move/Copy" command support multiple copy, and behave
   like an array command.

Thanks for the reply. Is there any way to make multiple copies of a selected figure appear along a given profile (eg., a spline)? If you could provide me the algorithm it would be great.

- Sorry, but I have not done such type of drawing before.

- But, theoretically it is possible to do almost any kind
of drawing, using individual commands and construction lines.

- Maybe someone else can help, here.

hello,

I don't believe we have a 'follow path' type of function in LibreCAD,
it would be a great addition though!

This is not ideal but it may help for now until we get something better
At least for copy/move an object along a straight path.

1. Select object.
2. Modify - Move/Copy.
3. Press enter.
4. Specify reference point.
5. Specify target point, make sure you use ' Snap on distance' (or snap on grid if in units of 10). This will find the snap point at required distance (my example is 12.5) along the straight path.
6. Once placed enter requirements in the Move/Copy options window.
