There are some technical (and legal) stuff still to be settled in
order to get LibreCAD to import DWG. See:

You may be interested in trying the version 2.0 alphas, available from here:
https://code.launchpad.net/~librecad-dev/+archive/librecad-daily

Those packages don't have DWG support yet, but the PPA will be the
first place it is found whenever DWG support gets in. They do have
lots of new features, but also a higher possibility of bugs.
