In the Crosshairs

Is it possible to change the appearance of the crosshairs? (I'm even willing to tweak the registry if necessary.)

I don't remember it looking like this in rc1. (I just installed rc2 yesterday or the day before.)

This crosshair cursor thing hides a pretty large area of the screen. With a black background it's not as noticeable, but it still hides the same amount of the drawing. A simple crosshair would be just fine. For a drafting program, a big square area like this that hides everything underneath it simply isn't very efficient, seems to me. (It takes some of the fun out of drafting.)

I'm not a programmer but it seems to me this would be a pretty simple thing to fix.

I'd rather use a plain old mouse pointer than have to deal with that thing.

Are you on Windows or Linux?

Something like this would be preferable. If you look close, you can see that the lines of the drawing are visible inside that little square area in the center of the crosshairs.

In that last screenshot, what you're seeing is just the generic crosshair with no tool selected.

This one is a shot of the line tool activated in that particular CAD program. (I won't mention the name because I'm not trying to spam the forum.)

In this program there's an option to turn off the system mouse pointer, which I've done for this screen shot.

I'm not sure what that is. Sounds like a Linux app. Sorta like less and more.

- I just installing and running LibreCAD V1.0.0RC2 on a Windows XP
   professional computer, and got the same result as mentioned
   above.

- That bug was not there in LibreCAD V1.0.0RC1, and is not there
   when compiling LibreCAD from GIT (today).

- When compiling LibreCAD from GIT (today), I noticed that
   the cursor shape used for drawing entities have changed a lot.
   This lead me to think that work was in progress on the draw
   cursor, when RC2 was released.
