Installing LibreCAD on Win Multipoint Server 2011

Csányi Pál
Hi,

I just installed LibreCAD on the three Microsoft Windows Multipoint Servers ( MPS ) in our school.
I choose to install in the My Document of the privileged user Profesor on the MPS.
This way the students can't even find the installed LibreCAD in their Start menu when logged in as not privileged users - as students.

How can I solve this problem?
Best, Paul

I have no experience with MPS, possibly the server administrator can help more.

Also, maybe LibreCAD is not well prepared for multi user environments.

Anyhow, Windows should be able to handle multiple user settings in registry and config files under My Documents\AppData.
So you can manually add a LibreCAD shortcut to the AllUser start menu or each students start menu. Assumed that the students have permission to the program folder.

investing less than half an hour into Search function can save hours or days of waiting for a solution

I solve this problem by adding LibreCAD shortcut to AllUser start menu on the MultiPoint servers.
I did follow steps described for the Microsoft Office, but these steps are same for the LibreCAD too.
