Issue reopening saved Figure Templates

Joeyadams
Hi All,

Slowing learning to use the program. Used autocad for the last few years at a previous job, now on my own and trying to not spend a fortune on cad software as the figures I make are relatively simple. I made a figure for a report recently and when I reopen the cad file all the lines are swollen. When I inspect the properties the lines are the same width, so I'm not sure what to do to solve the issue. I opened the figure in cad space and in the print preview and the all the lines are fat and on top of eachother. I basically made a border, with a drawing in the center, and a title line, company logo, date etc. below.

Looks like the drawing is very small. A scaling or units issue?
The north arrow seems to be linewidth 0.0 then?
You may provide the file here for inspection.

Setting the default drawing units to meters seems to help with that drawing

Yes that did it! thank you so much for the help!

I was wondering if you could help with something else I was working on. In Autocad you can put an aerial image into model space and center it within your figure frame in paper space and zoom the aerial in to focus on parts of the larger image you want to highlight. Any parts of the lager image that are not within the frame of the figure do not show up in paper space. Is there a way to do that with Librecad? Is layer "0" model space? Nothing seems to show up on the print preview from layer 0.

I think inches fit better. Then the letter paper size fits the paper frame in Layer Paper_Space with scale set at 1.1 in Print Preview.
Also with mm you get very faint lines in Print Preview, with inches it looks right.
There is no real paper space in LibreCAD as in AutoCAD.
Layer 0 is empty in this drawing.

You can't clip a bitmap within LibreCAD.
