LibreCAD - I can not get Measurements line to work at all....! pls help

I can't get the Dimension function to work at all!
The lines are drawn fine, but there are no target values ​​or end symbols on the target line.
I have various YouTube examples, but I can't get the same thing on my screen as in the examples!!
Is there an issue that I'm not aware of or ....??

I hope for a positive answer, as I'm maxed out on a task...
