Linetypes aren't working when I open LibreCAD .dxf files with AutoCAD or eDrawings

When I open a LibreCAD .dxf in something other than LibreCAD the linetypes all change to continuous. Is this supposed to happen? Is there a way to save the linetypes when transfering to a different CAD program?
