Mac Installation

TerryA
I just downloaded and installed LibreCAD on my Mac Mini, running Mojave. LibreCAD seems to be working fine.

The issue is with where it was installed. Ordinarily, an app installs to the Applications folder. LibreCAD seems to be on the Desktop. The icon looks like another drive. As long as this is on the Desktop, I can start and quit LibreCAD as expected. However, If I eject this drive icon the next time I start LibreCAD the icon reappears on the Desktop.

I would prefer to have LibreCAD installed in my Applications folder like my other apps. Does anyone know if this is possible and how to go about it? I don't understand what is going on with this and couldn't find any answers from Google, etc.

A bit late I know but I have just managed this, as follows;

Run the .dmg file.

Drag the LibreCad icon from the pop up screen onto the desktop.

In Finder drag LibreCad from Downloads to Applications.

LibreCad now appears in Launchpad and in the Applications list and opens as a normal Application.
