Making Sense L.kueneman@verizon.net

Larry Kueneman
Ok, I am 81 years old, but I am retired from a career in technical writing. My job was largely the writing of product owners manuals. If I am going to learn to use LibreCad I am going to make suggestions as I go along.

First, in the "User Manual for LibreCad" we need a brief glossary. "Under Changing Program and Drawing Setting", Template and Part Library are not defined. Is a part a component?

Second, when tabs are referred to They should always be in the same word order. For example "tab Paths," "Paper tab," and "Units tab". My preference is reference for example to the tab Paths. With the name of the tab emboldened (can't do it in an email).

Third, on this page you refer to two entries to be made "C:\Documents, etc." It is unclear where to enter these.

Fourth, on the "Applications Preferences," Path box, although referred to, the word Templates does not appear.

Fifth, Where are the size menu and the Units tab to be found?
And I'm only on the first page.

I also want a wiki version of this manual, so others can contribute their changes easily.
