Mirroring TEXT and Single TEXT Class

boukyaku
Hello,

I just want to say thank you all for developing this program. I am currently using it for engineering and design work for MEMS devices and find it easier and more intuitive than AutoCAD 2012.

I am currently using LibreCAD 1.0.1 on Ubuntu 12.04.

I was wondering if there was a way to mirror TEXT in this program. I don't want to explode the TEXT as that would convert it into lines and arcs which will make the file useless with what I use it for. When I try to mirror text it mirrors the box but does not flip the TEXT. You can currently do this with AutoCAD 2012 but you need to change some mirroring options specificity for TEXT.

Is there a way to insert a TEXT entity and not MTEXT? I have to convert MTEXT to TEXT using AutoCAD 2012 which is the only reason why I am forced to use that program :p.

- I think you talk about the AutoCAD "True text mirror" option.
If this is really this option you talk about, I think that LibreCAD
do not support "True text mirror", but only "Readable text mirror"
   mode.

- I you want, you can fill a feature request, using the link below:

- LibreCAD V1.x do not support "TEXT" entities, but only "MTEXT"
   entities.

- There is work in progress, implementing "TEXT" entity support on
LibreCAD 2.0 (upcoming version), but I do not know the status of
   that work.
