Hello, - I just registered on LibreCAD Wiki, and want to add instructions on how to built LibreCAD on Windows. Unfortunately, it seems that just registering on the Wiki is not enough to do what I want. - Do I have to get some special permission? Am I missing something? Claude |

Claude,
I had to disable some items on the mediawiki because the number of spam is enormous. Just look at the number of spam bots that registered!! http://wiki.librecad.org/index.php/Special:ListUsers I am even thinking to shutdown simply shut down the whole wiki and only have a small set of users access it. Or even shutdown the wiki at all and re-think how we should do documentation. Ries On Apr 21, 2012, at 9:24 AM, ClaudeQC [via LibreCAD] wrote:

Claude, Clive,
I set you both as a administrator and burocrat on the wiki. I added yet a other extension to mediawiki, now new users have to get confirmed by any of us before they can do anything on the wiki. That can be done on this page : http://wiki.librecad.org/index.php/Special:ConfirmAccounts I hope this will help to fight spam.. Ries On Apr 21, 2012, at 9:24 AM, ClaudeQC [via LibreCAD] wrote:

Claude,
I installed some more extensions. I really would like the wiki to work, but I also don't want it to be a burden for us fighting spam. I added an extension that allows for user request that needs to be approved by me, you or Clive. You should beable to create pages snow. Hi Claude, ries mentioned spam on wiki, so this is collateral damage. Let's add instruction for how to edit wiki first. Dongxu On Apr 21, 2012 10:24 AM, "ClaudeQC [via LibreCAD]" <[hidden email]> wrote:

Dongxu, spam has been taken care of and I removed all created spam pages and user account. For the time beeing a user needs to request for registration before they can do anything. Claude and Clive have rights to confirm new registrations. Ries

Dongxu,
we have a math extension now on the wiki. I took your math here : http://wiki.librecad.org/index.php?title=Math_bits and put that so it would render it as a image. it uses latex for rendering.
