I have been a long time QCAD user, but am attempting to switch to LibreCAD.
So far I've run into two odd behaviors I hope someone can explain to me.
  1. I attempt to draw a 1" x 1" square. It creates the object by  creating what appear to be 4 lines of infinite length that make a # like shape where the center in 1" x 1". What is it doing? How do turn this off?
  2. I am attempting to draw horizontal dimensions on a 1" x 1" box. The "Horizontal" dimension tool cannot be selected. Why? How do you bar it's selection? How do you enable it's selection?
I should point out that I am working on a dxf file I created in QCAD 3.1x.
When I create a new LibreCAD file I can draw a normal 1" x 1" square as I would expect.
But I still cannot select horizontal dimensioning. I suspect I've turned on some constraint feature by accident?
It appears to be stuck in "Linear" dimensioning mode.
What causes other dimension modes to be inaccessible and force "Linear"?
  Thanks!
