I am a mechanical engineer working with design and analysis of spur and helical gears. In the past I have used AutoCad Lt to visualize gear tooth shapes and the machine tools used to cut gear teeth. This allows me to graphically verify equations written for the design and analysis. I'm now retired, but still doing some consulting.
