New user with no idea

Hello.

I want to build a cabin.

Before building, I want to draw the cabin.  And this is where i am getting lost.  I need to draw the cabin, so that i know how many trees to cut and mill to make the walls.

The logs will be 8" thick.  They will be 20' long.  With the inside walls being 16' corner to corner.  In a hexagonal shape.

How do I draw 6 lines 20 units long, crossing 2 units in from each end, on a 60 degree angle?

So first you need to draw a hexagon. Select draw polygon, and then look at the top, there is a small tab appears, set the number to 6, specif the center of polygon anywhere you want on the drawing, and the rest you need to check and adjust the geometry per your needs.
