Newbie CAD User

Ladies and Gentlemen I am new to LibreCAD. I am also new to CAD in general. I want to learn CAD because I have several projects that need to be saved so that they can be used on a CNC waterjet. So I will be asking many questions.

Question 1.
I need a tutorial on how to draw spur gears. Are there any available?

never done this but here is something you could try.

functions to be used:
Circles
Lines
Modify->Rotate->Multiple Copies
Modify->Trimm/Extend
Snap->Snap to Endpoint
Arcs->Arcs with three points (or maybe Draw Splines (don't know this will work with splines))

I think using "Arcs with three points" is not that good cause the point where two arcs join together may not be flat.
(so you're better off fitting a spline manually to the lines end)
