Objects selecting that I didn't select

Firstly let me say thank you for such a great, easy to use program.

I am, and have always had the same trouble as this guy  http://forum.librecad.org/Two-Objects-Mysteriously-Selected-With-Others-td5713188.html

... and always it is oval shapes that auto-select.

In my case i have parts laid out within 1 meter x 2 meter boxes that go off for laser cutting from sheetmetal.

If I select any lines or circles anywhere, all oval shapes everywhere highlight as well

In this picture, I selected the red arrow lines, all the ovals on the right, yellow lines auto-select.

First important question, which LibreCAD version do you use?

It's not clear, but it seems, that for the referenced thread the solution was to upgrade to latest version.
The test file in the referenced thread works fine for me too, with the latest build, so can't reproduce it.
Have you downloaded the test file and checked if it shows the issue for you?
Can you append your DXF file or at least a reduced version which still has the issue?
