Panning in a drawing

Is it possible to pan either horizontally or vertically in a drawing that is too big for the visible grid without changing the grid size?

Use "Zoom Panning". The cursor turns into a hand and you can pull the visible area around. Unfortunately it works only for one movement at a time, you have to click the icon again for a next move.

Or just use the scrollbars, if the range is enough. But I always deactivate them to have more drawing area.

Just noticed: if you press Ctrl during the process, panning stays active after a move.

I found that the middle button / wheel of a three button mouse, a Microsoft mouse in my case, allows me to pan by clicking & draggring. Hold the middle button down will cause the pointer to change to the 'hand' cursor. BTW, rotating the wheel allows zooming in and out. I'm using LC v2.2.0 rc on Linux.

I've bought a new designer's notebook

for sketching (found it at https://onplanners.com/notebooks/best-notebooks-for-designers. And now want to transfer my pics to the computer.
