Problem with translation ?

fa201
Hi,

The French translation is not up-to-date for the recent LibreCAD features (which is fine) but some old features such as Save or Save as are not translated on a recent build on Ubuntu OS.
The other items in File menu are translated though.

Is it normal ?

Sorry I cannot snapshot the application when a menu is pulled down...

"There are standard dialogs in LibreCAD, e.g. file open or save, which may be not translated in other languages. These dialogs use a translation dictionary file deployed with Qt, because the source for these dialogs is in the Qt source code files. LibreCAD deploys the Qt qm files, but LibreCAD supports much more languages than Qt. So if Qt does not support your language then these standard dialogs are not translated when LibreCAD is used with this language."

Re: Problem with translation ?

I saw the same problem in an application which I maintain, so I decided to put all the "close", "open", and similar messages to be translatable in the program domain, to keep the consistency along all the translations. That could be a suggestion for LibreCAD, but it would increase a lot the translation work for the package.
