[RESOLVED] how to install 2.2 version

Hello
I would like to install version 2.2 of librecad.
The appimage: LibreCAD-2.2.0.2-x86_64.appimageLibreCAD-2.2.0.2-x86_64.appimage does not work.
The tar.gz file does not contain a .config and make file.
How to do

There are various places where building from source is explained, e.g. https://docs.librecad.org/en/latest/appx/build.html

This just builds the executable and set up a running environment in the unix folder under the build root location.
There are some hints in the forum how to install this manually, as there is no explicit installer from us. This is usually done by the Linux distribution maintainers.
