Ok, I see. But full-bright-green does not seem to be a good choice -- it
was a pain in my eyes the first time I saw LibreCAD and it still is.

For me, the original QCad-icons are often much more clean and intuitive.

Hmm, it seems that in LibreCAD, the icons are drawn as SVGs, then converted
to 150x150 pixel pngs, and then again are rescaled in LibreCAD, which results
in somehow blurry icons. Wouldn't it be better to export the SVGs to pngs
in the correct resolution, instead of this two-time-rescale?

Additionally, I would suggest to use default-icons for standard-tasks
like new, open, save, print, redo, undo etc.  Does Qt4 contain such
default-icons, like e.g. GTK does?

I now redraw some of the QCad-icons in Inkscape, and used icons from the
tango-icon-theme for some standard-tasks (but there are probably better
icons for this; I even think of using/redrawing stock-GTK-icons... ;)).
I then (more or less automatically) exported the Inkscape-icons to pngs,
and recompiled LibreCAD. You can see a screenshot of LibreCAD with some
of the QCad-like icons at

Are you interested in adding such icons to LibreCAD?
If so, I probably will complete the QCad-like icon set.

And do you know where I can find Qt4-standard-icons (for new/open/save
etc.), or is it possible to tell Qt4 to use standard-icons (like in GTK)?

I would like to thanks this artist for his contribution in green color.
This design looks nice but the visibility is not very good.
For a LibreCAD newbie, like me, icons are baffling.

I love your contribution. For myself you icons design is helpful.
That's improve the meaning of icons and their visibility.
