Scale to Fit

Manswame
Hello. I'm pretty new to LibreCAD but not drafting. I was wondering if there was a way to scale an entity to fit specific dimensions. For example, I have imported a drawing I want to create a cut code for my laser. Its sitting at just over 14.6 inches wide and I want to scale it so it fits my material of 12 inches. So how do I go about doing this?

There is no way to fit it automatically into a certain size. The scaling factor has to be calculated.
Select your entities, then go to Tools - Modify - Scale. Select a reference point, then the scaling options box will appear. The scaling factor in your case will be 12/14.6, you can write it this way into the input field. Ok, and done.

Ok that's what I was thinking but was having an issue. I think I got it figured out though. Thank-you!
