Split Line

Hi,

is it possible to split a line into n lines of equal length? I can scale and
copy, but is there something more elegant?

LC V2.2.0 rc has the plugin "Divide". This does what you want.
In 2.1.3, well, more laborious. If for instance you want to split a line into 4 parts, use Modify - Divide, have Snap Middle activated and set Middle Points in the Tool Options bar to 3, select the line to be split and choose the first of the Middle Points as the cutting point. Then proceed the same way with the remaining line but reduce the Middle Points to 2 and so on.
