Text breaking with extra CR when converted to DWG

lgr
I'm a noob, just getting started with LC, and have been able to create and print dxf drawings. In order to be compatible with Autocad DWG, I downloaded TeighaFileConverter and TeighaViewer. When I load a complete dxf drawing from LC, the text is sometimes scrambled, with long lines broken into shorter ones.

Has anyone seen this behavior before, and is it an issue with LC or Teigha? Have people successfully converted LC DXF drawings to DWG using other tools?

The DXF file format was created by Autodesk originally to transition older AutoCAD files to newer versions of the software.

DXF always does things like chop long lines into small segments when opening in AutoCAD and some times scrambling the text if the DXF file was created some where other than AutoCAD or another AutoDesk app.

I use to see this happen with the old qcad and a couple of other cheap CAD packages.

It has to be the nature of the DXF file format created by a non-Autodesk app.

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Matt 7:13-14
