Text problems when I open a .dxf file, created in LibreCAD, with AutoCAD 2012

When I open a LibreCAD .dxf file with AutoCAD 2012 for Mac all of the text (not dimensions) goes vertical. Each individual letter is upright, but the lines of text go from top to bottom instead of left to right.

I haven't had a chance yet to try opening the files in any other versions of AutoCAD. Hopefully this is just in the mac version.

Has anyone else experienced this?

It's version 1.0.1 compiled Feb 21 2012 on ubuntu. I think AutoCAD is making it happen because I was able to get them to open correctly with eDrawings.

I just need to make sure that if I send my drawings to someone that they will work.

Hi,

I had the same problem under W7. I changed font and it helped.
