So moving the drawing towards the origin is the recommended workaround for this issue.
I understand, that the data sources deliver real world coordinates and sometimes it is absolutely needed or easier to work with these coordinates.
But this is a common issue in computer math and needs special handling to solve.
There have been several announcements in the past, that people try to work on GIS/COGO functionality for LibreCAD, but it seems to be not that easy, there are still no results.
investing less than half an hour into Search function can save hours or days of waiting for a solution
