Trouble with Dimension Tutorial

I feft-click click on the left side of a rectangle, the I left-click on the right side - the dimension appears directly on top of the rectangle, but the software does not allow me to move the dimension above the rectangle. Any help on this?

See http://forum.librecad.org/how-to-calculate-a-surface-tp5716879p5716882.html
investing less than half an hour into Search function can save hours or days of waiting for a solution
