Won't Save

I feel stupid even writing this but nothing will save. I have a mac version that works fine but installed onto my pc and if i save and then try to re load the file it is empty???? WTF

If i load the file from the recent files tab it works! but not if i choose Load file, what the heck is up with this program!!

In the file dialog, see what type of file it says, if it says qcad then it will not load
select Drawing Exchange (*.dxf) and it should open fine.
