circle dimension text in inches

matt
Hello all,
I'm new to LibreCAD (and pretty excited), but ran into an issue immediately.

I set up the default to be inches, then drew a 2" radius circle. when I try to dimension this part, I see no text. If I set my unit to mm and redraw the part (50mm radius), then dimension it shows up fine.

I'm guessing this is a default text size issue? Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks

Can you share a test case dxf file to show this issue? Using the tool box ( More -> Upload a file )

I went to Edit -> Current Drawing Preferences -> Dimensions and set the
"General Factor" to 1. The diameter now shows up as 4.

Cheers,

Thanks, this works for me.

Question: it just shows "4"

How can I make it show 4.000 or 4.00 ?

I'm not sure about that one.

I found you can set the unit precision in Edit -> Current Drawing
Preferences -> Units, but it will not display trailing zero's. i.e. it
will display 1.4352 if that's the diameter of the circle but I can't
make it display 1.0000?

Cheers

Do you mean you want it to display "1.0000", you get "1"

If so, just upgrade your LibreCAD to the latest release (2.0.7)
