ok thanks. so, my problem: i want to trace a pencil sketch to librecad. so actual i have the dimensions, which i want to have with it. when i do a circle, line or else, how do i know how big it is without counting the grids?
edit: Ok i think i got it. the only clue is the counter on bottom left an it was a question of setting the scale. Is there an option to save the set settings?
ps: an kind of Ruler on the sides would be useful though.
although I would recommend to trace the pencil sketch in inkscape, you could just draw it in LibreCAD not worrying about the size.
Once this is done simply scale it to the desired size.
Place two lines horizontally separated by the desired dimension, then scale down/up your sketch to the desired height.
