dxf file is saved in vectorworks, I can open in librecad but is empty screen

ebocek1
Hello all,

I'm a new librecad user and I have the following issue.

A friend made a plan in vectorworks and saved as dxf file 1.673 KB. I can open this in librecad and the command line says loaded document: C:\Users\bocek.erdinc\Downloads\Böcek Koersel 030421.dxf
So no errors.
But the screen is empty (see attachment)

I tried auto zoom, doesn't help

I tried to save but then the size is just 23KB

I also tried to open recent files, doesn't work

Has anybody got an idea what more I can try to open this file?
Thanks in advance for your supports and ideas

Hard to say without the file.
Maybe it is not compatible with LibreCAD. Too new version? LibreCAD supports up to dxf 2007.
3-D file? Does it open in other CADs apart from vectorworks? Does Tool - Select - Select All show anything? Layers off? Does it contain images?
If you like to share the file here you can zip it to make it smaller.

Edit: maybe a binary file? ASCII less troublesome.
