selection colors in the command window

ravas
When I select something in the input of the command line the text is white and the background is blue.
This is easy to see.

When I select something in the output of the command line the text remains black and the background is a very light grey.
This is very hard to see.

hi ravas,

I'm thinking about getting a new style to option widgets, because new users don't notice existence of them easily. for example, draw Circles (c, r), need to make the input widget for radius More conspicuous.

one idea, move all those input widgets for actions to the command widget.

I agree with you;
however, I'm concerned about the people who hide the command line.

A superior setup is not apparent to me.

The easiest solution would be styling the current toolbar to be more conspicuous,
and to add more about the toolbar in the wiki.
It would be nice if QT had the ability to make a toolbar's border blink when it appears.
A different colored background could help.

no, blinking would be two much.

what about another docker widget for all option widgets, right above the command widget by default, and users can drag them around.

The option widget can have a different background color, configurable in Edit->Application Preferences.

Right now, LibreCAD is trying to be green, so light green might be a candidate.

viable...
How will you deal with the right click feature and having two toolbars?
