switch to print preview

Hi folks,

when I switch to print preview and back I get an exit of my drawing.

I am using the latest version of librecad
Version: 2.2.0
Compiler: GNU GCC 12.2.0
Compiled on: Dec 17 2022
Qt Version: 5.12.11
Boost Version: 1.75.0
System: Windows 10 (10.0)

Is this normal?

Yes, this is normal, kind of. The drawing isn't exited really, but is still open in a hidden, not shown window. When you close the Print Preview the screen unfortunately falls back to the empty start up file 'unnamed document' instead. You can close or minimize it with the according buttons in the second row from above. If you close it immediately the 'lost' drawing will appear beneath, or if you minimize it, you will see minimized tabs of the unnamed document and of the 'lost' document.

To avoid all this I recommend to switch to 'Tab mode' instead of 'Window mode' in 'Drawings'. This way you have a better sight on open and hidden views, and can switch between them.
