Thank you for the rapid response, I am impressed.
Q1: Do you use any registry-style features? Can be hard to be sure one has cleaned it out completely. I prefer and approve of your use of /home/xxx/.config/Librecad. I notice that the "recent files" list tends to reflect the last linux/win program version to successfully run, makes me wonder if entanglement is occurring between linux/win versions.
Q2: Is there a Yast-style repository anywhere with your recent/latest version? openSUSE is unfortunately several versions behind.
