please tell us:
#your operating system is
#LibreCAD version you are using
#could you please upload the dxf file or another dxf file where you can reproduce the behaviour

First make sure your work is saved as a dxf file. Some users reported their files are saved as lff flles.
File->Save as->make sure .dxf is selected in the "Files of type" drop down box.
