As un- and reinstall doesn't help, it might be some screwed up settings in the windows registry for LC are to blame, as these are not removed. You can do this manually, but that's for the more experienced users. Alternatively you could install the portable version from portableapps.com, as there these settings are stored within the app and so are always fresh with a new install.
