I fear there is no solution. As I have tried out, angular dimension does not react to all settings in the dimensions settings box. Otherwise you could set 'dimension extension line' at 'fixed length' and '0'. Probably it was considered not to be necessary as usually angular dimensions are placed between the relevant objects and so the dimensions extension lines would coincide with them. Furthermore the dimensions settings are valid for the whole drawing and can't be set extra for each dimension.
