Array tool?

Bryon
Hello again.
AutoCAD has an array tool.
You draw an object then "array" around a central point (node, point, etc.). You can specify how many objects are inserted, whether it's a circular, square, rectangular array.
Anything like that, under another name possibly?

Hello Byron!

You should not see LibreCAD as  a free version of AutoCAD. LibreCAD is a open source project,

Move/Copy is the closest. To do an array, you must do some handwork.

At the top of the main page are links to manuals and howtos.

If you make the item as a block, you can specify the number of rows and columns to repeat and their spacing,

You can also enable snap to middle as on. Then at the top there is a tab that allows you to specify number of middle points. Then you can draw a line in the array direction you want. That line now has the number of middle points as you wanted, equally distributed along it. Then you copy the original entity, and paste by snapping to those middle points one by one. It is not as good as an array feature but up to may be 20-30 points it is not so impractical. each pasting takes about 2-3 seconds. Then you can delete that helper line you made.

Also, when you copy, if you select "multiple copies" and copy the first one at a certain distance from the original, then the rest will follow in the same direction and spacing
