Why does he draw circles with different lines (very small dashed, dot-dash)?

Usuallly line types in any cad is set in layer configuration.

Ok, but the circle doesn't respect the setting by layer. It cannot be changed using element properties either

Create a layer which line type is small dash, then other: line type dash-dot. Then
draw a circle, change layer, draw a circle.

Drawn in one layer, line type dash-dott. Line, ellipse, curve OK, circle...

Confirmed for V 2.2.0. Circle only renders line type continuous properly. Does not occur in 2.13, also seems fixed in the development version 2.2.1 series.

If you desperately need other line types than continuous in 2.2.0 you can cut up a circle at one position with Modify - Divide. It then is an arc and you get the desired line type.
