Copying hatched areas

When I create a hatched area, firstly it does not appear in the draft, but is visible in the Print Preview.  Is there a way to make the hatching visible in draft mode?  Also when I copy/move an area that has been hatched, it removes the hatch, even on Print Preview.

Can anyone assist please?

In Draft mode hatches are not shown and text is simplified to rectangles to speed up screen rendering in complex drawings. Switch it off.


Hatches disappearing when moved is a bug in 2.1.3. Use 2.2.0 rc if possible, it's fixed there.
