Dimensions without dimension.

Hello there!

The last few days I am struggling with a very very stupid problem - I draw something (I try everything) and when it comes to put the dimensions, the result is arrows with no numbers at all, but instead there is a quite big box next to it without anything in it.

Please help, as it drives me mad. Apart form that the program is very good.

This might be an easy fix - the way you describe it, you might be working in 'draft mode'.  Check the title bar of the window, if "[Draft Mode]" appears there you need to switch back to the normal view.  To toggle in or out of the draft mode, select "View" from the menu and click "Draft", or press "Ctrl-D".  You can also use the toolbar button  to toggle the view...

i need help size always square and i do contrl+D no change many release tried all off them same when i prepare a layer then problem is occur.
