Editing vertical dimensions leaves both text versions

Editing the text of a vertical dimension does not delete the original and leaves both a a shadow. It does not appear to happen with horizontal dimensions.

I cannot reproduce with the latest 2.2.1 release candidate.

OOPS, I spoke too soon.

When I edit a dimension string it does not delete the original and I can't manually delete it.

Intermittently I can appear to cure it by re-editing the dimension but it re-appears when I save and restart the drawing.

I have waited for a newer version before responding but the problem still exist. When I edit the text ion a dimension line it does not erase the original, it shows both versions. I cannot delete the original on it's own. It deletes bot. Horizontal or vertical does not matter.

since I'm not 100% sure about the bug behavior, please be detailed and exact in description of steps, and even better, with screenshots/export images.
