To redraw I should be able to use the F5 button.
However, in Windows10 this is not working. Using the F5 button opens the search screen (Start typing to find apps,... ....). |

Redrawing should be triggered auto.
Wondering why a button is desirable.

It's not so stupid as you seem to think it is. Often one wants to see what's the effect of some things he did do in a drawing. Often, too. some remainings are left, and the redraw option is nice, because you get a cleaned-up drawing. Apart from that, if a funtion is implemented it is ment to be working the way it should On Apr 8, 2016 6:25 PM, "dxli [via LibreCAD]" <[hidden email]> wrote:

What version are you using?
Please give an example of when the redraw feature is needed. |

Note that the system's F5 on Windows 7 is "Refresh the active window".
That means there was a change in behavior in Windows 10. It looks like the Windows build server is still using Qt 5.4.1; the major updates for supporting Windows 10 are in 5.5 and 5.6 |

I did download the installer 2.0.9.exe. The Qt-version is 5.4.1. Version 5.5. and/or 5.6 I did not find. When using the Redraw-option in the menu all is OK. Just the F5 option does not work. 2016-04-08 23:51 GMT+02:00 ravas [via LibreCAD] <[hidden email]>: Note that the system's F5 on Windows 7 is "Refresh the active window". |

Yes I'm saying the server needs to be updated to use Qt 5.6
This is a Qt + Windows 10 issue not a LibreCAD issue. Anyhow... redrawing is supposed to happen automatically. Please provide an example of when you need to use this. |

OK, so we wait for an update of the server. I do not have at hand, at the moment, an example, but from the past (working with Autocad, but being an amateur) i do remember that very often a drawing showed some leftovers which I cleaned up with the redraw fuction. I'm not sure (it's quite I while since) but Autocad does have an easy keyboard command, something like Ctr + R, for that. Apart from thaat, if yhe software is offering the F5-option for a manually triggered redraw, this option should work, or be removerd. 2016-04-09 1:27 GMT+02:00 ravas [via LibreCAD] <[hidden email]>: Yes I'm saying the server needs to be updated to use Qt 5.6 |
