How to print a detail with a different scale ?

fa201
Hello,

I want to print a part at scale 1:1 and a detail at scale 2:1 on the same page. This is similar to 2 viewports in DraftSight with 2 different scale.
How do you do that ? I mean apart from scaling the detailed area, addding the dimension (scale 1:1) and manually modify the dimension...
Thank you.

Fabrice.

You can't really do this in LibreCAD. Apart from....
Best is to delete the idea.
If you insist a laborious workaround could be to export single drawings as pdf or svg and then import them again in Inkscape as one drawing. Additional advantage: you could also use pretty ttf fonts for text.

I found a work around. It can be quite some labor though...

Draw again the detailed area at a different scale. (3/1 in the example)
Add dimensions.
Change the dimension with property tool and add the right dimension.
