I've Lost My Drawing (Zoom has gone crazy)

ehbowen
I've been working on blueprints for renovating my garage apartment. Everything was going well until yesterday, when something glitched. Now, the drawing will load...but as soon as I try to adjust the zoom, it goes nuts...as in zooming out all the way to California. And, so far, I haven't been able to recover it. Attempting to insert a screenshot. Here it is when I open the file:

Make one click of the mouse wheel to zoom the drawing, and I get this. Notice the dimensions/distances:

Touch anything else, at all, and I get this: "Invalid length" everywhere:

I suspect that somewhere LibreCad is dividing by zero, but I don't know how or where it might have started. I did get a warning that "page size is less than 1 mm" or something to that effect when this first started...but the page size in current drawing preferences (US Letter) isn't showing any problems.

I've tried copying to another file, as well as opening on a Linux computer (this happened on Windows) without success. Here's my LibreCad info:

Version: v2.2.1.1
Compiler: GNU GCC 12.2.0
Compiled on: Feb 18 2025
Qt Version: 5.15.2
Boost Version: 1.87.0
System: Windows 10 Version 2009

Note that the problem is specific to this file; I can create and save a new file with no issue.

Do you have a sample dxf to trigger this issue?

It seems to be unique to my original file; I can open other drawings without issue. I'm new here and I'm not sure about uploading, but I'll try to figure it out.LanhamANSIC.dxf

Hi ehbowen,

The issue is fixed in the stable release branch and in the current development branch.

Installers can be found here:

It's not clear though why the font has letter spacing set to zero.

Not sure it's a feature or a bug.
