Imovable X axis

I've only just downloaded Librecad and when I try to draw a line or a circle, I drag the curser to where I want it but the X axis remains fixed whilst the Y axis follows my curser. Is this a fault or have I done something wrong?

You have activated Restrict Vertical

Thanks very much. This has been driving me mad for days.

My cursor ONLY moves vertical.
I choose Rectangle,  Same.
What am I doing wrong?

Just moved your post to this location, because it was not related to the other thread, and the answer to your problem is above.

For example, on sel. of Rectangle, can only place pts. on Vertical line.  ?

Message to: LordOfBiks - the Cursor only moves along a STRAIGHT Line example, cannot drw. RECTANGLE.
 
By the way is it; Schwinn, Honda, or Harley?
