Printing Does Not Work - Tried Everything

Brian Libre
I have read all of the previous posts regarding the common issue of faint lines with both printing and PDF exports.  So far I have attempted:

+  Using Options - Current Drawing Preferences.  No impact.
+  Layer Attributes - Editing layer attributes, testing line thickness .25, .50, 1.00 & 2.00.  All print the same.
+  Modify Attributes - On all lines to reassign layer and line width.  No impact on printing.

Can anyone confirm if there is a way to print in LibreCAD that is simple and straightforward?  This is ridiculous...

Maybe an issue with paper size or scale?
Do you print from Print Preview? This is recommended.
See https://librecad.readthedocs.io/en/latest/guides/completion.html?completing-and-printing-a-drawing#completing-and-printing-a-drawing
investing less than half an hour into Search function can save hours or days of waiting for a solution

Figured it out.
Yes, using Print Preview and noticed the "Apply print scale to line width" was enabled.  Disabled, tweaked the scale and it is now working as intended.

Highly recommend/request that this be fixed.  The defaults for Layer 0 should guarantee that new users will not have these issues.  Like most other apps, a new LibreCad user should be able to just print and have it work the very first time.  Then they can learn the finer points of printing as they gain experience.
